The objectives of the Society of Our Lady of Egmanton are to maintain and foster the tradition of Christian pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Egmanton, and to maintain the Shrine and the Parish Church or Egmanton.
In practice the main purpose of the Society is to organise the three main pilgrimages each year. As the Shrine is within Egmanton Parish Church, that includes liaising with the Parochial Church Council, plus the Village Hall trust whose facilities we use, and the team who prepares the lunches.
The Society is managed by the Society Council (members can be viewed on the Contact Us page). The constitution of the Society is currently being revised by the Society Council and will be posted here when approved.
